Ohmdog's friend Mary asked a great question!
Thank you Mary for your comments!
Mary asked "Does OHM stand for something?"
The
Ohmdog email screening Mom answered, "The original design was a little dog in a yoga pose (butterfly), so he was named Om. When
I went to get a URL to challenge my son to open his merchandising business, I couldn't get omdog. It was already taken,
so I added the "h" and said it stood for happiness. Philip and Emily were just 10 years old when they
started. They are now turning 13 - Wow that went fast! "

Countdown to Kindness for Cures
It's almost here! - Our biggest fundraising effort yet. We are hopeful that one small donation at a time, our friends
here will collectively create a nice donation for the benefit of Children's Hospital Boston. Thinking the kids and their
families who need to go there in the first place, is great motivatiohm to put our efforts into organizing the
Ohm Dog Kindness for Cures Campaign.

Straight from the kindness card library.
We just picked the kindness card that says, "Donate to a food pantry".
If you are a business owner, you might be able to help by becoming a drop off
center for a food drive. Students can see if their schools would be willing to do a food drive.
So many ways to ohm on!

We are happy to connect with this kindness effort :)
We stumbled upon a kindness social networking site. The purpose of this social networking site is to bring together
the nicest people on the planet to help me perform one million acts of kindness in one year!
Check them out sometime!

Kindness Cures
We are working on the ohmdog newsletter and just couldn't wait until it is complete to tell our friends about Generation Cures. It's an online community that helps to raise funds for research, finding cures for childhood sicknesses. There
are fun things to do there, but more importantly, there are opportunities to practice kindness to others.
One
act of kindness a day, can keep a frown on your face away! So if you are looking for a place to be kind, we hope you
will join us at Generation Cures. Ohm has dedicated all profits from the months of November and December to benefit
Children's Hospital Boston. If you care to join our efforts to make an ohmazing difference when we are done, visit our Kindness Cures page.
Wishing you peace and happiness always,
Philip

Smile!
We just went to the kindness card pile and picked the one that says share your smile!
What a simple way to create peace and happiness! If you have a story
about how a simple smile has made a difference, we would love to hear about it!
